CS & T Subic,
Inc. is a wholly Filipino-owned company that was
established and registered under Securities and
Exchange Commission of the Philippines in the
year 2000. It is also registered in Subic Bay
Freeport Zone and is classified as a Subic Bay
Freeport Enterprise thus allowing it to hold office
and operate inside the freeport and entitling
it to to tax- and duty-free sales
and services. |

The company’s
main activity was to haul Jet-A1 fuel for Philippines
Airlines (PAL) and other types of fuel like gasoline
and diesel for traders and consumers. After a
year, CS & T became a distributor of PTT Philippines
Corporation. It started trading fuels inside and
outside SBFZ with the strategy of being a cost
leader to penetrate the market. Slowly but surely,
the company was able to increase the number of
its customers thus increasing its sales every
year. |

In 2004,
CS & T Subic, Inc. constructed its retail station
inside NSD Compound, a port area of SBMA, and at the
same time, it also relocated its office in the same
area. Being a cost leader,
CS & T was able to serve diesel fuel for accredited
haulers of
the freeport and now caters to a big part of the market
inside
the economic zone. Along with its fast growth, it
acquired more tanker trucks and constructed additional
storage tanks both
for diesel and gasoline fuels. |

CS & T Subic, Inc.
was featured in the Entrepreneur magazine as one of
the top Small and Medium Enterprises in the Philippines.
Operating for only seven (7) years, its sales have increased
tremendously, exceeding the goals and expectations of
its incorporators. At present, the company is thinking
of new ways
on how to serve its clients better and faster and is
planning to penetrate markets in other regions all over
the Philippines. |
